In spite of all danger I sit
in a public welfare office, explaining my difficulties to an executive.
In spite of all danger
I keep on searching, read the newspaper, looking for signs,
In faces of people, a bus stop passed by
entering a mall, looking at the sky
If rain is ever falling, or hope is arriving,
if any results are here to last.
In spite of all the danger
I swallow all I have patiently endured, lack of comprehension,
The sideways glances, fear of ostracism.
In spite of all the danger
I move on to the center, to embrace the source of creativity.
